Future Generations.

I only wish to see my children happy and safe. It is so satisfying to realise that they are all with partners whom they love and are so loved in return. There are many roads to travel for them all, lots of decisions to make along the way, choices, desires and some disappointments too. Whatever happens now it is their call. As a mother I can only watch and if advice is asked for I still have to take care, how do we advise if not from our own personal experiences. Most of which were moments of pure chance or good fortune experiences that we managed to emerge from unscathed.
So off they all trot, our children have different worldly problems to solve, perhaps it should be said far more urgent planetary matters are at hand. How will our kids act, what decisions will they make. A fresh approach may be necessary. A new system of politics. New laws, perhaps a more sober resolve like "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Punishment may one day be identical to the crime. An eye for an eye. Who knows. There will be changes and that is the only thing we can depend upon. CHANGE. Now I am getting close to retirement and starting to feel a little bit redundant. Is there still time for me to contribute socially and environmentally. Maybe I simply need a few peaceful years of contemplation.
To be able to leave a meaningful message for future generations. Now that is an almighty challenge.
If I could leave the next generation a blue print to resolve all the problems they are about to face, then this would be the ultimate in personal satisfaction for me.
So I ask myself where can the youth of today turn to for answers, and I know there is but one reply, GOD.
Yes he is with us all, ask him a question with an open heart and listen carefully, without ego or prejudice and you shall be guided with his love.
